About the Journal

Biomaterials Journal (Biomat.J.) is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal that provides monthly publication of articles, published by Biomaterials Department (Online ISSN:2812-5045) and publishes papers on the theory, design, engineering, fabrication, and implementation of materials or devices with valuable applications in biological systems. The journal welcomes studies from the full range of materials and technologies employed in vitro and in vivo, as well as clinical studies.

As well as original research, Biomaterials Journal also publishes case study, survey study, mini-reviews, and reviews articles that examine the state of the art, identify emerging trends, and suggest future directions for developing fields.

The article processing charge (APC) is only 150$ USD upon manuscript acceptance to cover the range of publishing services we provide. This includes the provision of online tools for editors and authors, article production and hosting, indexing services, and customer services.

The call for new manuscript submissions is open now. We offer waivers and discounts on article processing charges (APCs) for articles, bringing the price to only $130 (instead of $150) for a limited time upon acceptance.
